Tear trough

A tear trough is a deep crease between the lower eyelid and upper cheek.It can cast a shadow below your eyes,resulting in a tired and older looking.

Surgical procedure

To correct this tear trough,microfat transfer or redistribution of eye bag fat is a standard procedure . The result can last for years. Dermal filler is an option but it's temporary effect.

Possible side effect

Lipofilling or fat redistribution is quite safe procedure with less side effect. Necrosis of injected fat is quite rare as well as relapsing of fat redistribution.

Recovery time

There are some swelling and less bruises in one weeek and natural looking in one month.

Result

Some injected fat resorption is possible in microfat tranferring but the rest can last for years. Fat redistribution is more promisable result in amount and placement. It can produce long lasting effect.
