Nasal bone surgery

A wide nasal bone with a relatively short nasal bone makes the frontal view of nasal look disproportioned, preventing aesthetic harmony on the face. Augmentation rhinoplasty alone is rarely achieving the best result in wide nasal bone case.

Surgical Procedure

There are several techniques to reducing the nasal bone width. Most are cutting the lateral nasal bone and pushing inwards by closed methods.
Nasal splint is required for 1-3 weeks after surgery. Swelling and bruises usually occur in first week.
The recovery time is about 1-2 weeks depending on details of procedure.
